Joululahjoiksi kannatan ehdottomasti sellaisia hankintoja, joita tulisi ostettua muutenkin. Ja toisaalta sellaisia lahjoja, joita ei tulisi ostettua muuten, mutta joiden hankintaan joulu tarjoaa sopivan hulluttelumahdollisuuden! Määrän sijasta meillä panostetaan silti ehdottomasti mieluummin laatuun eli Paavo saa yhden kivan lelun ja yhden kiinnostavan pelin, puuhakirjan sekä joitain vaatteita. Itselle ja kotiin voisin ostaa jonkun kauan haaveilemani jutun – tosin tänä vuonna sekin jää väliin, koska rahaa on mennyt kiitettävästi remonttiin, uuteen vanhaan autoon ja vauvan tavarahankintoihin. Kummilapsille ja Paavolle löysin loistavia juttuja Konglomeratista (mainos!) – esim. maatuskoista ja melamiimilautasista riittää iloa pitkään!
I´m not that into buying a lot of chistmas presents – instead of quantity, I prefer quality also in this case. Paavo will for example get a one toy, one board game, one hobby book and maybe some clothes that he needs anyway for winter. Konglomerat is my choice for fun gifts for both home and for the kids!
Such cute ideas! I also love your take on Christmas, it’s so refreshing to find out that someone still sees Christmas this way… it’s become soo commercialized lately (and here in the Czech Rep. especially..). x
It´s always difficult to balance between pleasing the kids and not buying too much stuff for them. And it gets even more difficult to find storage for all the toys…
